Big hike today (6+ miles) to Tolmie Peak. It was beautiful.

This lake is up at about 5500 ft. Beside the hikers, there isn’t much to disturb it.

I don’t carry bear repellent, but we should. This trail was pretty busy, but we were on one not too long ago where it seemed necessary. We have cougars and bears around.

Chris, it was a great day for the hike. Upper 50s. It rained a little at the end, but that was welcome after 6 miles.
