My name is Jeanine.
Been here before!! 2010 - lost 50+#, stayed on track for a long time - started to regain in 2015, had major surgeries and gained even more. Saw MD in late March 2018 and weighed 202.5 fully clothed. EEEEKKK. Time to get serious.

Restarted tracking food in April 2018, joined two challenges and staying with KETO. Keep your fingers crossed that I can find my way back to good health and sticking with this woe.

Hobbies and joys in my life: FAMILY, including our Dogs, gardening, cooking - esp new lo carb recipes, exercising, reading, knitting, learning new things to do on the computer!! and shopping for new clothes!!

Choose a woe that will work for you (woe=way of eating) something that you can do for a long time. There is Atkins, counting calories, low carb high fat - check out the diets on this site. Some choose to their own - a combination of things.

Planning is key. So after you decide what to try - plan out meals for a few days and then go shopping. If you decide to cut out sugar for example - read labels carefully before buying the product AND clear your kitchen pantry of all sugary products.

Ask questions like you did today and you will get answers.

Using the site
Hi new to the site - after checking out FAQ still not sure how to record some things. For example, in a walking challenge - do I have to record daily weight in order to record whether I walked or not?
Also on Atkins - where do I indicate which phase I am on.
Thanks in advance for help.
