Yes. It’s awfully hard to find healthy alternatives to sweets! They are my downfall also!

I have the same problem, but also salty things like chips. I just can't have them in the house. I allow myself a little - a cup of hot chocolate most mornings or honey in a cup of tea.

I have quite the sweet tooth. Even fruit sets it’s off. Eliminating all carbs, fruits included, for a few weeks gets rid if the cravings. I was then able to slowly reintroduce natural sugars only. Real food, not fake sugar free items. This helped me. I feel more in control of my sugar intake now as I don’t restrict or forbid. I monitor...

Please don't give up, yes it is hard but like what was said earlier if you can put them off just a little while the the "hard" cravings subside. I just don't buy them anymore. If they're in my house I'll eat them chips too. I'm a foodie so I understand. Don't look at this as a "diet" but a life style. That way you'll keep off what you lose. Find things that you like that way it's not so hard. After lowering my carbs for a couple of weeks and started reducing my portions I find I'm actually eating a lot of food. I love salads and change them up as well. I even do a taco salad with salsa and yes lean ground beef. For something sweet I like light greek vanilla yogurt with strawberries and 1/2 of a graham cracker for crunch. Or some suger free jello with a dollop of whipped cream and if I really get a hankering for chocolate I'll buy 1 box of Atkins that are low carb. The peanut m&m's taste just like them and only 1 net carb. Portion control will become your friend. You've got tjis!!! You can do it!!!!

same here so I've limited, and not completely cut out, I get low calorie single servings and that helps. In the past all my diets have failed cause I feel deprived of my favorite foods. this past yr by limiting and not depriving I have finally found what works for me. I hope u find what works for u dear.
