PUPPIES! I love the Skipper's chocolate lab, but they're just too hyperactive for me to consider ever owning one of my own.

They're so cute! 11?? We though about breeding our lab and thought she would have 4 or 5. 11? I think I'm going to have to rethink that one.

They do love to tear things up when you're not around; I think they get bored pretty easily. But mine is content to just sprawl out on the floor wherever I happen to be. If I'm on the tractor mowing, he will walk behind me for the whole 3 or 4 hours while I'm mowing. They are just so loyal and affectionate. Mine is from this mom's uncle, but he's a black lab - 130 pounds at last weigh-in. He's been selling them for only $300.00 which is a steal for a purebred lab. I think he's nuts.

Sazy...you are so right on that one!!! They are so beautiful and as a breed never seem to loose that puppy appeal.

Something to consider, by golly. Those are beauties! I keep thinking I need a bigger dog. Last time I lost weight I had a chow (how appropriate for me,no?) and whenever I reached for food I didn't need, she'd take it from me. Now I have a small dog and while she too takes food from me, it isn't that good an idea. I need a bigger dog. Wonder where I could get a St. Bernard?
