ok, I have been off the wagon for almost a year. I am taking steps to get my life back on track. My doc put me on a weight loss plan and an antidepressant. There is nothing bad going on in my life, just can't get over the depression. So taking it one day at a time, kind of like the step program. I know this is a bad time to start a diet with the holidays and I know that I will cheat while on vacation and during Christmas, but that is ok. It is a lifestyle change not a punishment. So here goes day 1.

Diet Calendar Entry for 27 November 2018:
1105 kcal Fat: 28.00g | Prot: 56.00g | Carb: 158.00g.   Breakfast: Fat Free Hot Cocoa Mix, Fat Free Hot Chocolate with Calcium, Light Yogurt with Granola - Strawberry. Lunch: Coca-Cola Coke Zero (20 oz), Lean Cuisine Comfort Roasted Turkey Breast. Dinner: Great Value Cream Style Corn, Bunny Bread Brown 'n Serve Enriched Rolls, Spiral Cut Double Glazed Brown Sugar Premium Smoked Ham. Snacks/Other: Lucerne Watch'n Carbs Fudge Bar. more...

Good luck! I'm familiar with the struggle of depression for no particular reason as well. Getting the right medication will help! It may take a few tries to find the right one but it will be worth it. :)

before Christmas is perfect time ...if you are able to survive that temptation level is a great starting motivation for that weight loss program.. I really hope we can do it . Welcome to fs!! :)

Hello! It's all in the mind. You have to keep telling yourself, setting up visual reminders, etc, that you eat to nourish your body, you don't eat to punish it.

Depression and anxiety is terrible thing to have. IT IS a disease. NOTHING to be ashamed by. I suffer from both and if u need to vent or want someone to be there- hit me up!

Remember every day is different. Do not be hard on yourself. If you have one bad meal or day try to start over with the next meal or day. Don't let it become a bad week or month!

Hope you soon will feel alot better scouter.Lots and lots of water to flush out those Anti depressants. I find walking 3 hours a day EXCELLENT therapy! so many showers and it seems to take my mind off stupid stuff,and carry on... we will all get there! Take it easy!
