I love baby ducks! Oh, how I miss the baby goats. My girls and I used to sit out on the porch in the evenings to watch The Baby Goat Show. It was far better than anything on the idiot box. Do you have chickens, too? Those birds will take care of bugs, even scorpions for you! A couple of my free-range chickens killed a copperhead for me.

My wife won $150 gift certificate from Cackle Hatchery in an online gardening drawing. We ordered three Ancona ducks, five Easter Egger chickens, five Bard Rock chickens, five Chantecler chickens, and five Cinnamon Queen chickens. Cackle sent three extra's one each of the Chantecler, Bard Rock, and Cinnamon Queens. We're already planning to expand our flock to probably double the current size. They're a lot of fun!
