I had an awesome day yesterday. Tightly controlled my intake and exercised like a banshee. It paid off in that I lost a good deal of my weekend weight. If I can just get through the weekends I will make great strides in my weight reduction. I know this is a lifestyle I am trying to create and my actions, my activities, my eating are all part of that. So far another good start, we will see if it is a good finish...

Once again the weekend ruined all my hard work through the week. It was a little better this weekend however I still have to get it under control. It is not acceptable to lose the plot every weekend. I was more active which helped, and it was Easter which did not help, well, as it relates to my diet anyway, but those are just excuses. I need to keep up my activity and tightly regulate my intake. Four more days until I get a chance to do it right. Must keep fighting the good fight.

Okay, good and bad things as it relates to weight loss. My pedometer showed that I walked over 30,000 steps. Wow, not sure that I have done that in a while. Lots of exercise, lots of walking, lots of calorie burning. The bad thing is that I way overate. My intake was way, way, up. To be honest we went to a restaurant that specializes in pan fried chicken. They had a family dinner that was awesome. The fried chicken was great but the calories were not. All in I was able to fall off the calorie intake wagon, but not gain any weight. Now, back onto the weight loss train...

Early start to a day off. Heading down to exercise in a moment. I am so tired. Yesterday was very active. My pedometer read over 16,500 steps. Combine that with a hectic day at work and I almost slept in today. Here is to another successful day as I had into the weekend and temptation.

I hit my lowest weight since I started my journey. I certainly hope to say that a lot. It was a good day to be sure. I watched my intake closely and ate just under 1600 calories. This past weekend a local store had a big sale on chicken tenderloin. I cooked up about 5 lbs of these jewels. Yesterday I had a couple of them for dinner along with a cup of rice, a tablespoon of soy sauce, and one serving of raw peanuts. When I was done I was adequately full having eaten a healthy dinner. Still need to incorporate more vegetables into my diet. It is a good start to this day, just need to stay strong and eat all the right things, stay active, and get to the gym this afternoon. Keeping the faith...
