Hump Day! I've been sort of busy this week but owe my FS friend a big apology for not being there for you and ducking my committment to record my food and my journal.
I guess there hasn't been a lot going on. I've been trying to do a little exercise everyday and I've been eating on plan. Looks like I start back to being a road warrior next week (Reno) and I think that will be a good thing. Think I've been home too long (6 weeks) and I'm just getting "blah" from no travel. When you are used to traveling at least 50% of the time and it has been more like 80% of the time, time home/down time, can get a bit tedious. I work when I'm home, but I do enjoy the travel.
Anyway, to my friends big hugs and love. Lori

Good Monday Morning everyone!
I hope everyone had a wonderful weekend and a peaceful blessed Mother's Day. My day was very nice.
Not a lot to write today. I've been off track for a few days and feel like I'm starting over again. Not going to weigh for awhile. Need that mental boost when I get on the scale again. I did some walking on Saturday, about 2 hours worth and that felt great. Made me realize that if I hadn't been walking for the past the month, I never would have made the trek I did Saturday, so that was a powerful feeling.
So, today is a new day to not start over, but to go foward!

Well yesterday started out with the greatest intentions... can you see where this is going already?
My best friend came over and we started indulging in whiskey so I didn't eat until late then it was a pork chop that my husband had grilled and covered in bar-b-que sauce (still trying to figure out why he has such a hard time understanding NO SUGAR, but there it is).
So today besides feeling like crap, which I deserve, I realize I have gone a whole week without walking and I'm getting ready to be "a lady" (TOM)...
Well as the Great ANNIE Says, Tomorrow, Tomorrow, I love ya Tomorrow!! Tomorrow just a day away. So eating better today and tomorrow will get out and walk, god willing and the creek don't rise, which with all this rain, is a distict possiblity!!

Happy Cinco de Mayo!! Now in the old days this would mean tacos, and drinks and nachos. Today it is grilled Pork Chops with some greens and maybe some Cauli Rice! I feel so much better about making these healthy life style changes. Made some Green Chili last night and thought, shoot, I should have saved that for today! Oh well, it's all good.
Sun is out today so I have a 3 hour training call at 1:00 so after that, it's time to go out and hike around the neighborhood. Feel like I've lost a lot of momentum from the weather and not walking so it is time to get back out there. I am not nearly as tired when I walk each day so I need to get back to it.
