married to a wonderful man. i have three daughters and a step son.
i got my ged in 2007 and just graduated college to be a phlebotomist in dec 09.
Happy with life but not with my weight, i need to lose 65 lbs to get healthy. My doctor said i have acquired a murmur in the last 5 years and that has scared me into wanting this weight loss more than ever. my mom has diabetes and so did my grandfather so bad health runs in the family due to obesity. LOOKING FORWARD TO NEW YEAR AND NEW ME!!!!!!!

Failure
I feel like poo!! I have gained 3 pounds since last week and wish to GOD i could get back on track i feel like my life is in a tornando right now and it's making me crazy!!!! why do a fail and why was my ability to quit smoking so easy and losing weight so hard can anyone explain this because i feel like dying right now. I know i haven't walked my walking buddy went out of town and noone else wants to walk. I didnt watch what i ate and now im suffering the concequences of it. Sorry fella's. Ladies can anyone give me tips on the bloated fat feeling im getting right now, I know it' due to pms but it is making me feel like im gaining my weight back and im going crazy. I need to know how long this will last and do i need to skip a weigh in saturday. Still walking five miles a day and watching what i eat.

Is It Possible to Lose 4lbs a Week?
I do not believe in starvation diets, First of all the first week i lost 11 Lbs and the second 6 Lbs. I will weigh in again monday morning,
I eat 1000 calories a day in which I keep my carbs at 100grams daily
fat below 30 grams and protien as much as i can. I walk everyday 3 to five miles, only taking one day off a week to rest my body. It normally takes me 1 and a half hours in the morning to do the exercise.
If you want decent results eat lots of protein, watch your calories and exercise. Believe in you and do not eat next to nothing, it only slows the process. GOOD LUCK!!!!!

Motivation.
You do not want to get bored ,but journaling is key. It will help you adjust your diet plan as needed.
I start my day off journaling my meals for the whole day so i can plan healty ones, if i need more protein and less carbs i can choose a different food to put in the place of the high carb one .i journal all my foods for the day in the morning so my meals are planned and there are no room for snacks that aren't on my list for the day. it will also help you know what and how much exercise you need for the day by knowing your total calorie intake. Hold yourself accountable find a picture of yourself you are proud of and put it in a place where you can see it,look at it and tell yourself your going to succeed and be that person again. YOU CAN DO IT!!!!!!! BELIEVE!!!!!!LOVE YOURSELF MORE THAN FOOD!!!!!Surprised)
