Raised on farm raised beef, pork, and milk. Homemade butter from grass feed dairy cows. I learned to cook from scratch rather than boxes, mixes, for frozen meals. Once I was stable not perfect but lost 15 gain 15 type of lifestyle until depression became an ongoing event in my life. Medication, poor eating habits, less home made foods, more processed foods, more mainstream commercial foods all added to my weight increasing. I have been successful at dieting yet never at the stabilizing my weight now that I have added depression medications. First diet mom put me on was WW at 11 years old. Little did I know I was eating to cover my personal issues then. Now I have the loving help from my husband who also believes in humanely raised meats, gardens rather than lawns, farmer markets, loves some organ meats, and agreed to live this life with me now and forever and a day. I will need additional tools to help remove some of the excess weight I have gained over time. Weak damaged knees, extremely morbidly obese not just overweight, low self esteem, diabetic on insulin, fibromyalgia, chronic depression, limited income, fatty liver, balance issues, and stress all have been companions in this current life I have. Come follow me as I attempt to change things around one step at a time.
