Why Drink a Protein Shake Before Bed?
FYI, you're body stores about 1100 calories in your muscles and about 400 calories in your liver to run off of when you're not eating--aka when you're sleeping. The BEST time to consume a protein shake is within 30 minutes of cardiovascular exercise--if you have one before bed, it's just going to try and store those calories as fat, especially if you've met you 1500 stored up in your body already. (1500 for the average person)
And I've learned all this from my nutrition class I'm currently taking-just wanted to verify my souces/knowledge.
