My body generates the wrong frequency of electricity. I kill watches, and sometimes, like just now, long paragraphs of typing disappear as they mysteriously become highlighted and erased! Boo! Hss! Let us try again:

I was making excuses anyway. I broke the fast, because I was hungry. Perhaps, this is OK. Perhaps, this is what my doctor means about working on building my nutrition. I ate pastured eggs, which are eggs from chickens that eat bugs instead of grains. I used to raise chickens that ate bugs. Pastured eggs have orange yokes and boast a complete nutritional package.

If I had gone with three eggs, instead of four, my proteins would have stayed low enough for the Fasting Mimicking Diet that I read about somewhere. I may shoot for that instead of the total fast. I do like doing research.

***EDIT**
The official Fasting Mimicking Diet is not what I thought it was. I won't be able to do it, so I am continuing with the Fast Fast, which has low proteins, very, very low carbs, and healthy fats. I need to do more research to find out why I think that less than 5 grams of carbs, less than 20 grams of protein, and less than 600 calories per day will let me get into autophagy. I read it somewhere!

Early Saturday, I cooked all the turkey bacon because it was developing a smell. It didn't smell bad, but the fact that meat even has a smell means that it has only a day or two left before the bad microbes take over. I mention this because that much protein in one day causes the liver to convert the excess to glucose. Yes, I had a bad night last night. I won't be buying any more turkey bacon. It didn't keep well, and the taste wasn't worth the effort it took to cook it.

Today, I do believe that I can fast. In fact, after breakfast yesterday, I felt no hunger. I just wanted something for my mouth to do; I wanted the social part of eating. My plan for today is coffee, water, and more coffee. The only food I have in the house is dried beef and a dozen eggs. OK, there is butter, olives, various oils, and tahini, but every time I look at the tahini, I just move on. I used to love that stuff, but it no longer interests me. I could make some more fat bombs from it...

We'll see how the fasting goes. A good plan might be to skip eating today, but have eggs for lunch tomorrow. It's lunchtime now, so I'll plan on eating at this time tomorrow for a 48 - 50 hour fast.
