I've been heavy most of my life, but always very active and into all kinds of activities. After college, I dropped most of my excess weight and got to where I wanted to be. Then I got married and started having kids. I noticed myself finishing the kids plates off and slowly starting to drift back into my old ways of overeating and under-exercising. Since the new year (2011) I have re-dedicated myself to track absolutely everything that goes into my mouth - even on Sunday, which is my "cheat" day. I also gave up drinking until my birthday in April.
I started this journey tipping the scales at 213, and I am going to be back to 180 by my birthday on April 9th, 2011.
As an intermediate goal, I'm going to be under 200 by the beginning of February 2011... as of today, that's 14 more days.
I think this is a great tool as long as we all stick with it!
