I am a wife and mother to 7 children. I homeschool my school aged children and have several toddlers I chase around all day. I am active in my church and hold conservative moral beliefs. I love sewing and photography and antique furniture. I also love camping and physical exercise like biking and swimming. My husband and I are self employed. We sell concession food at local festivals, which we found to be a common love during our dating. We married in July of 2004, and quickly became pregnant. I have two children from a previous marriage, and our five children make seven. It's a big number but it is challenging and rewarding. I am attending college to complete a nursing degree with a specific goal of lactation consulting and teaching breastfeeding classes. I am a breastfeeding enthusiast. Not in the weird way like nursing a five year old, but that I believe nursing is best for mothers and babies and have nursed all of my children for at least a year, including nursing my 2 year old and my one year old while expecting a baby. I love my family and want to be a healthy example for my children and well as live a healthy life to keep up and stay active. I have gained 50 lbs over my last three close pregnancies. I want to lose the 50 lbs and than another 25 to be a healthy normal weight for my height. That pretty much sums it up for me. I am simple and in my hubby's opinion, a tree hugging hippie. I have not argued and think that is a pretty good term of me if I ever heard one.
