Last week was a difficult week for me. I am seeing by watching my diet calendar that for me to lose 2 lbs per week, I HAVE to stay within 1600 calories and exercise for at least 30 minutes per day. If I do another 10 minutes of exercise each day, I can even eat up to 1800 calories. I get sad when I don't see the results I want, but it's because I am always eating well into the 2000 calorie mark. I can still lose weight, but it will be very slow; about .5 lb per week. I really want to lose 2 lbs per week and I know what I need to do.
Today I feel good. I've really been watching my food intake, exercised for 40 minutes and I'm in my calorie range for the day. I'm aiming for 1600, but if I happen to go over by 100 cals, it's okay because I did the extra 10 minutes of cardio today. I think this plan is better for me. 1200-1400 calories is just so low, I am starving to death when I intake that much of a deficit. I really don't care how long it takes me to get to my goal weight, but in the next 8 months would be great :)

Finally! That .5 lb I gained last week is gone :) I have to keep exercising every day or at least 5 days per week so I can keep losing. Eating 1600 cals has been a challenge, but at least I can exercise to burn the extra cals I ate.
