Why why why can't I get a hold of myself on the weekends! Everything I work for all week is ruined by the end of the weekend :( We have a weekly family movie night. The kids each get a small bag of chips, hubby gets a huge family size bag and I stopped getting that to and just get the small bag and a chocolate bar, but even that is eating up all my calories. I don't know what I can have during our family treat and movie night that isn't more than 300 calories. One small bag of chips is like a handful, it's really not worth it. Maybe corn chips with lots of salsa to make me fuller? Any ideas? Hubby usually suggests high cal dinners on the weekends and last night it was pizza... it's so hard for me to resist. I know that it comes down to choices and even though they are hard, I must choose the right thing for myself... I'm just so disappointed in myself for messing it up again.

I seem to be eating an even amount of carbs and protein. I use to eat Carbohydrate (52%), Fat (37%) and Protein (11%) (on average). Today it's Carbohydrate (31%), Fat (38%) and Protein (31%). Definately better than 11%, but still would like to get it much higher than the carbs. I am noticing a big difference in how full I feel though. Protein is fantastic for that :)

Had my first Spinach Taco Salad today... YUM! I also like eating Whey Protein drinks with my meal, it really fills me up for a long time.

Went a bit over today... I was dying of heat and took the kids for ice cream. I only had an extra small but it was HUGE!

Not doing to bad today. I am really loving the more protein less carb eating... it's a challenge though! I ate my Peanut Butter Bar today (my own recipe) and I didn't realize that they were so high in calories and carbs, but that is okay, from now on I'll have 1/2 a piece. They have peanut butter, whole wheat and oatmeal, but they are also packed with brown sugar and butter. The whey protein drinks are awesome! Very filling. I like the protein bars to, but not as much as the shakes. I am loving my greek yogurt (as always) and cottage cheese to. High protein rocks! :)
