Addicted to cheese in an unhealthy way?
Thanks for all the responses. I have much to consider. I can say that I did find that stronger flavored cheeses do require me to use much less to get that flavor I am looking for. I eat more aged varieties now. Weight watchers has an american cheese slice which is great for cooking with as it has only 45 calories a slice and fiber and tastes better than the name brands I used to like.

@FrostyLady - our diet goals are almost identical. Thanks for the encouragement. I know if you can do it, I can. Hopefully you won't mind if I look at your food calendar for some ideas of what better to eat. Mine is full of mac and cheese and sandwiches right now. I have had radiation treatment and can't stomach much so I am always looking to try different foods which may agree with me better.

Thanks again to everyone! Smile

Addicted to cheese in an unhealthy way?
I am addicted to cheese in an unhealthy way? Is anyone out there having the same issue? I eat anywhere from 1-2 pounds a week usually. Since I began this diet I have drastically reduced that but I am beginning to have withdrawals. What do I do?

triglycerides/ sugar/lose 10-20lbs
My sugar was 114 and my specialist told me I was pre-diabetic. My doctor said to loose 20 pounds or I would become diabetic. The following pay day I went out and purchased a pedometer and began my 10,000 Steps-A-Day diet.

I chose this diet plan because it allows me to each all the foods I love to eat no matter what and with the help of Fatsecret I learned how to count my calories. Getting 10,000 steps was a simple as putting my pedometer on in the morning and walking for 15 minutes and least 3 times a day.

I was able to get 15 min two times a day on my two breaks at work which meant I only had to walk for 15 minutes once at home. If you get an hour for lunch you could use 15 minutes of that to get the third walk in. Never the less I committed to making sure my pedometer said at least 10,000 before bed every night.

The game Dance Dance Revolution was also a great help in getting steps in on the weekends.

I hope my story helps you. Feel free to check out my diet calendar to find out how I am doing. I just restarted my weight loss and set a new goal for myself.

Can't get the number on the scale to go down!
Change it up. If you are ever stuck in a rut, change it up. Do different exercises, change your meal times, do something to let your body know your still there.
