I got up this morn feeling really good. I didn't really "exercise" yesterday, but stayed well under my RDI. I weighed 2lbs less this morning (175), but decided that weighing in everyday would be a bad idea. Although I do weigh myself everyday to see my fluctuations.
I did limit my carbs, but due to dinner I had high blood sugar also. Hmmmm. Substitution of carbs at dinner time may be my best bet.

Decided to weigh in today since I am starting the Challenge "Lose 10lbs by August". I plan to start weighing in on Fridays.

I skipped lunch yesterday b/c my blood sugar was high from breakfast, but planned on having a smoothie as soon as I arrived back home. My errands lasted longer than I thought, I forgot my shake before I left. I ended up snacking on baked lays instead of lunch and dinner. NOT TOO GOOD. :( But I still managed to stay around my RDI, so I'll try again today. I also had plenty of sleep last night, so that should be a good start to my day. :) I plan to wii fit and ab circle today. At least a little.

Ok, so I am watching what I eat to keep my diabetes under control and also to lose weight. Starting today. for real. I've been managing diabetes for 4 years now, 1 year on insulin. I lost 30 lbs (from 195 to 165) when I was first diagnosed, then 15lbs last summer doing outside gardening and such. I broke my ankle last March when I decided rollerblading was a good and fun way to exercise. I have since gained 23lbs more since last year and back up to 178 lbs. Its like a roller coaster. I feel if I don't work out 24/7, I don't see a difference. SOOO...today I will be starting over again, eating healthy, and working in some kind of exercise schedule. I am not a very big person, but the weight is an issue for my sugar control and feeling good about myself. :) When you veer off the road a little, you must get back on it eventually.
