I do NOT feel guilty
. In fact, in spite of the gain, I feel pretty good about myself today. Thursdays are my days to check my measurements. Just the few that I do keep track of(the rest I can tell in how things are fitting).
I have still managed to lose 2 1/2 inches in this last week, with the biggest loss being in my hips with 1 1/2" melting away to somewhere!
The scale is only part of my ways to track progress. This weekly measurement thing is what I look forward to the most and, as long as that keeps going down,
I AM GOOD TO GO!

Has anyone tried bread or bread products from the Great Low Carb Bread Company? Looks expensive (7.99 a loaf) but it has only one net gram of carbs - at least on the sourdough bread. Just trying to find alternatives and variations on foods I do like.
Found an awesome recipe for low carb salmon patties yesterday. Made them right away....tastes like my mamma's! It's definitely a recipe I will use again! Tried a few "bread" type recipes. One was an english muffin thing..... Now, I know nothing will be like using regular flour, and I go into all of the things I try with an open mind, but the texture of what I have made is just not doing it for me. I don't know if it's because of the brands of coconut or almond flour that I have used, or what, but it's not palatable to me. It's definitely a texture thing. The flavors seem alright for the most part...what I have tried, doesn't seem too far off the mark as far as that goes. Maybe a little tweaking, but nothing major. But I don't seem to think at this time, that I will buy anymore of those two types of "flour" and I am glad I only bought small bags of each to try out a few things.
I'm starting to feel that I will only be able to eat certain foods, and get to the point where I don't like them anymore...or get sick of them. I was hoping it wouldn't be that bad, cuz I don't feel I am missing stuff like spaghetti or breads...unless I'm smelling the fresh bread I make for the boyfriend once in a while, but it seems to be getting harder as I go to find something to eat when I do get hungry. I would like to not be stuck to certain go-to's, but it seems that is what is going to happen at this point. If I'm not feeling like having certain foods I have on hand, I just don't eat, which is a good thing in one way, I suppose.
I've been looking up recipes. Looked at what seems like a million of them. Tried a couple, but now if I see certain ingredients I know I won't like, from trying them or having them in the past, I don't even try to make them. I save the ones that I think I might like, but afraid to try them, because of past disappointments.
Any suggestions?
