I'm a thirty-eight year old Army brat who has spent most of her life wandering. I ended up in Minneapolis about eight years ago - and much to my surprise, I'm still here. I just fell in love with the city. I still like to travel, though the economy has kind of put a damper on that for now.
Two months ago I ended up in the emergency room with a pulmonary embolism. I almost died that night - and it changed a lot. I'd never been happy with my weight, but I'd put off doing anything about it. I'd always start the diet 'next week'. Well, next week is here. It's scary, but it feels good, too.
