Paul 27yrs/m:

I am a full-time assistant lecturer at The University of the West Indies (St. Augustine, Trinidad and Tobago). My job involves some active walking (and talking) which really burns up those calories.

I have always been into bodybuilding and hope that I can eventually reach a solid 200lbs (5% bodyfat). It is extremely difficult to look big and muscular when you are as tall as I am (6'6"). Calorie counting has made the world of difference so far...

Best time to exercise?
If you are looking for optimization of when to workout it depends on your body really. However when it comes to aerobic activity for fat burning purposes, there is some argument about timing. From my own experiences, I have to agree with the camp that preaches 15-20min HIIT aerobic in the morning on an empty stomach. If you don't want to sacrifice muscle, then some liquid aminos before the aerobic would be useful. Still, this has proven to make a huge difference when I am fat burning.

so much sweat!!!-embarrassing plz help
I have to agree with what others have posted. I myself suffer from a condition known as hyperhidrosis, which is extremely embarrassing and frustrating to deal with at times. Sometimes I bring an extra tshirt to change midworkout.

what do you eat after a workout?

Avoid sweets at all costs, they will send your blood sugar spiking back up and you'll loose most of the benefit from your workout.

You would be quite surprised to note that research shows that eating simple carbs and sugars postworkout (i.e. high glycemic carbs) are actually better than slow digesting carbs (but ONLY postworkout). That way insulin levels are increased which will drive sugars and protein/aminos into your muscles.

Check out this link on why you should eat gummi bears and candy with dextrose:

Having the option to add more than just THREE meals + Snacks
Nice idea DerFelix! Time-based entry would be awesome for me as well since I eat breakfast at 5am on some days and 1pm on others due to the nature of my job.

@chtamina: since I do bodybuilding as a personal hobby, eating 8-10 smaller meals a day makes the current setup extremely difficult to check how much calories I am getting per meal.

Since jessyline highlighted that this topic was brought up before, I hope that the developers are working on making our wishes come true!
