I'm 66 years old I want to get down to about 183. Currently, I'm 219. All my extra fat is in my stomach, the rest of me's in fairly good shape. I've decided it's time to get serious and this website looks like something that could be very useful. I have been going to the gym pretty often and I try to get there at least five days a week. Most of what I do is cardio, but I also do a number of strength training exercises as well.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I just noticed when I clicked on my apple symbol for my post, it indicated I was losing 4.7 pounds a week and that's way off. I've been trying to lose 2 pounds a week and have been pretty close to that. I think the site is terrific, but some of its calculations are off

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I generally weigh in probably between 3 and 4 times a week comparing what I see on the digital scale at Planet Fitness gym and my digital home scale. It's kind of annoying because too often they are different by sometimes a few pounds and yet sometimes they'll show the same. I don't know which one is right or the both of them are off, but I think it's relatively close because they both show me coming down and wait.
I use the formula on https://www.medicalnewstoday.com/articles/319731.php#calculating-how-many-calories-are-burned-in-a-day ...that being
For men: 66 + (6.2 x weight) + (12.7 x height) - (6.76 x age)
For women: 655.1 + (4.35 x weight) + (4.7 x height) - (4.7 x age)
I use it because I think the RDI on fatsecret gives too much leeway. Fat secret showed me having an RDI of over 2200 when the formula shown above indicates my RDI should be 1798

Problem adding entries to food and exercise calendar
I just started today. When I tried to add food and exercise entries into my diet calendar a screen pops up that says "No entries found". I downloaded the app on my smart phone and it won't let me login. He just wants me to sign up even though I've already signed up. I want to be able to post things online rather than my phone. Does anyone know what's going on? Help, thank you.

KETO
I just started fat secret today. Does anyone know why I can't add entries to my food or exercise columns. When I click "Add Items", it just says "No Results Found". Also, I can't log into my app on my smart phone. It just asked me to sign up, but not anyplace to login. I thought maybe you had to put all your entries in on the phone app, but that doesn't make sense. Anyway, anyone know what's going on?
