Married to my best friend. We're blessed with three children; twins soon to be 25 and soon to bee 21 Girl/boy twin and younger girl. Husband is a quadriplegic. Had a diving accident back when we were 23/24. Tough life. Tough life challenges. He's an awesome provider and I am a professional photographer. So proud of the three children we've helped grow and become independent. Eldest of the twins is in medical school (paying her own way - wish we could afford this) and her twin brother is in the Navy. Proud of him as an Officer in the nuclear subs area. Our baby girl is studying music education and vocal performance. All through our journey, I've neglected myself. Let myself go. Time now that the babies are now taking control of their own lives, it's time for me and my hubby to do the same. OK, so now for the plug if you got this far. LIFE CHANGER: NutriBullet!
LOVE, LOVE this product. Makes me make healthier choices throughout the day. Let's get healthier together! <3

Counting Carbs or Calories? What works for you?
I've been working on calories and have carbs coming from fruits/veggies. Knocked off all processed foods, including bread. Occasionally will have water crackers and hummus. Ditching all processed foods has certainly helped me. Just taking it slow and steady. !

A question on carbs
Hi there! Personally I don't worry so much about the carbs if they come from fruit and veggies. Those are good carbs. I've pretty much ditched all process foods but will splurge every once in a while for a homemade burger bun, but other than that, no breads (tonight's the night!). I more worry about the about of fat, especially bad fat.
I am using the 1200 calorie guideline for recommended fat, carb, protein
fat: 25-35% daily (33-47grams of fat), Carb 45-65% (135-195 grams), proteins 10-35$ 120-420 grams).

Great weight loss so far. Keep it up!
