Ahhhhhhhhhhhh, carbs below 14% (down to 11%, actually) at last!

Took my walk after running into my friend at the building's front door and, of course, wagging our chins for a great long while. Some of the constructioneers had come this morning, and started tearing apart the unit above mine and the one next to my friend. She got so nerved up by all the thunderous noise, that she had to go for a walk in order to get back to normal. A very lo-o-o-o-ong walk. She ended up at the top of the hill, where she discovered a mighty-hard-to-categorize little shop. I love that place! They have everything, including stuff that you thought was not made any more, and even an ATM at the end of the aisle. It's quite a trippy place!

Once I got back home, I decided to eat a few Sunflower Seeds. Heaven! I forgot how much I love those seeds. Back when I was a Career Temp, I used to live on them during my weeks without an assignment. They were very soothing today, both physically and emotionally. The Plan To Stop Stress-Eating might just have had its last puzzle piece falling into place. Hurray!

Carbs down to 12%, yay! I will say, adding a spoonful of coconut milk to the oil left from sautéing the brassicas made for a nice sauce -- especially with pinches of Ginger, Turmeric, and Curry powders. Mad scientist in the kitchen again: I love it!

Had to make an emergency visit to the Dentist's office: one of my teeth fell out, eeek! It'd had a root canal back in 1992, and today's fill-in dentist said that it had a good run. Fifty-two years (it erupted when I was 10 years old), and it finally couldn't do any more. Wow. Just...wow. So they gave me the consultation paper to take to the oral surgeon, and said to call him whenever I was ready, and that the people making my denture will only need my flipper for a full day, as opposed to the crowns, which need a week. Um! I sure hope I'm working by then, although it'll be mega-weird having to be on the job with no upper teeth.

Just grinned in the mirror, and I don't look as bad as I thought I did. This means I don't have to worry about smiling during a job interview or an apartment showing. Now, if only someone would call me for appointments to those!

I need sleep: being wigged out about the tooth falling out did not make for a nice, restful night. Besides, I gotta get up super-early and get my laundry done. >sigh<

Fats up to 80%: all right!!

Definitely craved those peanut butter fat bombs today: I'll have to make another batch of fat bombs early next week, like maybe Monday. They will, however, be some other "flavor" besides PB&Chocolate, as I need to keep from binging on peanut butter.

Only one friend was at the appointed Spinning Place today, and she was knitting. I got a few yards made, but not many, as she was telling me of all the places I could apply for work (she recently retired from one of Seattle Metro's bus warehouses). She had been working for a number of companies before the Metro job, and had lots of details about them. She also validated my desire to get a job before applying for an apartment. We left after a couple of hours. Unfortunately, another friend was able to make it later (she had originally emailed us that she couldn't attend). Bummer, man!

I just wonder how much of my fats-inhaling is about job-application stress? Tomorrow will be a good test of that, as I am buying a Sunday Paper and devouring their Classified Section.

That big Box-O-Boxes is sitting right next to my laptop here, in front of the door. Yes, my apartment is that small. I think I'll try to move them under the piano -- and just admit to myself that there will be no piano-practising this week -- so that the path to the door is free. You know, in case someone starts another fire in the building (like a year-and-a-half ago). "Out of sight" might mean "out of cravings" maybe? I need a pint of water...
