53yrs old and decided to finally turn it around. High fat low carbs, and a walkaholic. Very fortunate to live in SE Texas, and weather very rarely puts a damper on my addiction to walking. Has amazed me how adding the correct fat to diet has made me loose considerable amount of weight, and excellent blood work numbers each time at doctors visits. Looking forward to just getting healthy, staying healthy, and making this lifestyle becoming more natural, and not a job or effort to do.

Low Carb egg options
Honestly, I think it depends on the region you live in. I am in Houston, and regular eggs are cheaper. If I had to separate a dozen egg whites, vs. the amount of egg beaters, it may be seventy five cents to a dollar more for the egg beaters in volume. I thrive on egg beaters because they are quick, different flavors, and safe a ton of time. Especially when measuring out in 1/2 or full cup. IMOP

Net Carbs
Easiest way I have found out is to go to food log, and view the print out. It lists the fiber next to carbs, and you can just subtract mentally and see the difference.
