I'm a 27 yr old club cyclist, currently training for the start of the season that will involve endurance and Time trial riding.
Weight is always a big issue in cycling but I have battled with it long before I plonked myself on two wheels. Was a rather overweight adolescence with a pretty strong adversion to exercise and often turned to binge comfort eating. I still often flick back to this behaviour now. Over Christmas '15 in a period of 10weeks off the bike I gained 8kg/17.5Lbs.

I'm pretty obsessed with nutrition and the physiology of it all, I used to keep extensive formulated excel spreadsheets to get my daily counts and macro totals. Fat secret has been a revelation as it just does all this for you, gives you a great little pie chart at the end of the day and the little blocks filling up your RDI throughout the day. Pairing it with a Fitbit activity tracker I can get accurate information everyday concerning the whole cals in and out situation.

My current aim is to get down to a 'race weight' of 75kg and maintain that weight, with the help of fat secret and the community I feel very positive I can achieve this.
(P.s I love nothing more than chatting about diets, except maybe coffee and cake!)

I use a Fitbit Charge HR, Ive been very impressed with it, has a great app interface on both phone and website. Can produce graphs on all sorts of things, a good one is Calories out vs In, a visual representation of deficit is great.
Also tracks sleep well, tells you how restful the sleep was. Counts steps which can be abit erratic some times, i get steps registering when i go over bumps on my bike, but ultimatly a very good measure of daily activity.
Auto logs walking, cycling and some exercise machines.
The heart rate works spot on 90% of the time, and also breaks it down into HR zones if your into that, attempts to tell you what your ratio of energy usage is fat-carbs. Also auto works out resting HR everyday and plots it on a graph.
Downsides are its not waterproof, deals fine with excessive sweating though. Battery life is about 2-3 days if your tracking exercise and syncing everyday.
