I was a yo-yo dieter all my adult life (over 35 years) with my highest weight being 298. In September of '06 I weighed 267 and had the lap band surgery done in Mexico. It still takes work and discipline, but it is a great tool that gives the help I need to lose weight and the hope of keeping it off forever!

I currently weigh 186. For the first time in 31 years I am wearing jeans again and have in my sights my goal weight of 135 pounds.

My exercise for the week was
Monday-20 min.
Tues - 20 min.
Wed - 30 min.
Thur - 20 min.
Fri - 30 min.

One way I satisfy the munchies, especially while I am cooking, is to chew gum (low calorie, of course...because every little bit helps). This way you stop from a 'little bite here & a little bite there' that adds up without realizing it.

Well I made it through the weekend - now on to a new week. Over the weekend I did do my hour of daily routine workout. Talk to you tomorrow!

"AROUND THE WORLD" (in 42 Days)
Hey Team Voyagers - I am still working my way around this website. My mini challenge was to get back on track with my eating (no cheating). I did better by the end of the week.

My weekly exercise was (6 hours):
Saturday walked 30 minutes at a park
The rest of the week I averaged about an hour of daily routine exercise.

I will try to do better at getting on and posting everyday, now that I know where to post it.
