I am a new mom of a daughter born on February 23rd 2010. Her name is Fallon Jane and she is the light of my life. During my pregnancy I remained active with my doctor, excersizing 3 days a week for an hour each session. My doctor monitored everything because he is submitting a study for a medical journal over pregnancy and fitness. Suprisingly, my labor was extreamly easy compared to most, with delivery of an hour and up and walking just moments after.
However, I gained quite a bit of weight (+60lbs) even though I ate really healthy.
But either way, the price I paid was well worth it!!

working mom and losing weight???
I find it hard to eat breakfast when i'm rushed out the door at 6:30am and having to drop my husband off at his job and the baby with the sitter and then a haul to work 30min away. lunch is at noon, not much to choose from, and when i get home at 6 i'm starving so i grab the first thing i can get a hold of which isn't always a good choice.. any advice??

is this enough exercise
keep in mind, if you want to lose weight --use low weights and more reps, lose the fat that you want to lose and then build your muscle..
GOOD LUCK!

OH WHAT A FRIDGE!!
After all this talk over cheap produce I guess I got the best end of the deal.. LOL I am living in TX! HA HA There are farmers markets everywhere but just now where near Houston, the best place to get anything like that is Whole Foods, but b/c of the area prices are stupid.. but they are local. I have honey that was jarred only 30min from my house!

OH WHAT A FRIDGE!!
All these are great ideas and many of you have great advice, but when it comes to buying cheaper, its hard to do in my area. There isn't a farmers market ANYWHERE close by.. but when I move back to Austin, there is one on every corner so I will definitely keep that in mind.

As for "Luxury beans" lol as funny as it is, canned beans are so high in sodium its not really worth the price. Granted its more time consuming to cook your own beans, its well worth the wait.
