Scales are going nowhere....But today is a very busy day, so maybe something will happen. Trying to stay away from so much fat. Seems to be a trouble area. That and sodium. Have a blessed day, guys!

Today no weight loss and I ate the wrong things and even went over the 1700 calorie limit I had set for myself. Did spend about 4 hours with my feet up to help with swelling. Will try harder tomorrow to eat better and less. Hopefully I haven't undone any progress. Guess the scale will tell tomorrow. Each day is another opportunity, so I won't be discouraged.

A very small loss, but yesterday was Sunday and that is usually my "cheat" day. So I am hoping that is a very good sign that today when activity increases and I started out with a breakfast that was well under goal that things will continue to move down. Really trying.....

This is great! I am so excited to see the scale slowly coming down. I am weighing all my food and inputting my own recipes so I will know what a true serving is and finding it a lot easier than I thought. Today is Sunday and "race day." This could pose a problem as we usually eat a "race meal." I will still practice portion control and hope for the best. Thanks for all the support.

Slow but sure is the race. Hopefully all the standing on my feet today will not result in excessive fluid retention and I can see a slow steady drop in weight. Yesterday was remarkable in that I wasn't really excessively hungry. I had to stay in bed with my feet raised for half that day but then cooked and did chores in the afternoon. Needless to say, I am satisfied that the weight did not go up. Have a great day!
