Almost @65 kilos! Journal, all this running is literally 'skinnying' me! I am so close to my 64 kilos goal, I am confident I'll reach it soon, with the exercise I am putting in. Now what I have noticed is that the resistance and weight exercises are very important for my body to be able to run those longer distances it has never been used to do!!! Just losing the weight without getting stronger, I get exhausted too quickly.
I got hold of the magazine Runners' world last weekend in London, and it's damn good! Full of great advice on proper diet and training for runners of all levels. Endurance and strength are now the key objectives for me.

Long run tonight: 10.5km; 1h; weather: raining, cold, 3 degrees. Felt: cold on the thighs (need proper outfit for outdoors winter), but muscles ok (even after double spinning yesterday), not at all out of breath. Happy with this run, I feel I'm improving.

Good morning Journal! Wow, what a hectic weekend!! I have just finished updating my food and activity entries for the past 3 days, as I was away, and on the move constantly. Great weekend in London, visiting, shopping, seeing friends!! Great weather, cold and dry, blue sky, as I like it in winter!! Glad I stayed at my friend's Di's place, as she is very sporty! We managed to squeeze in a great run and boxing session super early Friday morning, in the park, nice!! I liked the boxing exercises, especially outdoors, with the pads and gloves. I might consider taking this up this year.
Diet wise I have managed to be good: out all day, I was buying healthy snacks and water at the corner shop when we'd leave the house, handy in my bag. Saturday night, B-day party for one of my friends; we cooked (so controlled the menu, he he), but still it is a b-day so there was yummy cake and champagne involved. It's okay, I took Saturday as my "off day", and had a reasonable Sunday diet.
All this walking around (visiting and shopping) was a full exercise in itself, and my weight is good this morning, down just a bit. I am content with that, as i was fearing it'd be up.
Back to daily routine now, and yeeeees, a run and spin tonight!

Hi Journal! We are almost mid-January, and I see on my diet calendar that my average fat intake so far is under 20% ! I'll challenge myself to keep it at that level until the end of the month!
