Here we are Memorial Day 2011, I passed on the barbecue this year because for some reason we went from using the heat last week with temps in the 40's to today in which the heat index is about 94. Crazy midwestern weather! Anyhow, got out early and did 8.8 miles at the park on my bike. Was tiring! Afterwards came home, cooled off and then took the dog for a walk before it got any hotter. Tomorrow is my official weigh in day for the week (I am using Tuesday as my official weigh in, but will probably post here on Friday or Saturday too).
Been a good weekend. I am coming up in just a few days on my one month mark of not eating any fast food. Feeling better! It's all small changes, none in themselves undoable.

Yesterday I had a horrible day of eating. It's not that I overate, I didn't eat anything literally, other than 2 cups of coffee, 2 Kashi waffles and 1 Slimfast. Yesterday I had appointment after appointment. Dog had to go to the vet, I had to pick up my new glasses, picked my daughter up from work, adopted two new kittens, shopping for the kittens prior to pick up and I never found myself at home until the end of the day and then the excitement of 2 new kitties and trying to get them introduced to my dog, left me without a thought to stop and eat! Although I know I could live without food for sometime, this is not something I plan to do in order to lose weight. Will need to be more conscience of making time to sit and have a meal in the next few busy days!

Staying positive and keeping focus on doing what's right for a healthy lifestyle. Haven't been able to get in any cycling Monday or Tuesday and with the severe weather on the forecast for this afternoon, getting that bike ride in after work will be highly unlikely. Not a wise choice to ride when tornadoes are predicted :) But ya know what? Not going to fret about it, I have a long holiday weekend with weather that looks to be perfect, I will just be sure to get in all the activity I can then!
