As I thought, the initial weight loss is slowing down. I don't want to loss more than 1.5 pounds a week, and want to be at 1 a week. So I'm happy, but I want it to slow down.

I'd left myself clear for a "cheat" day today. I usually go out with a friend and I planned on just getting something and dealing with the sodium and calories later. But we went to Pei Wei, and I'd already put together a meal for them - Small Sweet and Sour Chicken (Steamed) with brown rice and 2 Crab Wontons, even! For a meal out, it's only 730 mg of sodium.
Only, LOL. Saturday, I had 890 mg for the whole day! I ate almost that much in one sitting today. Yet with the rest of my meals, I didn't break 2000 mg for Sunday. Cooking at home is the way to go!

My first day under 1500mg of sodium yesterday. I might can get three of these in a row. We'll see!

Yay, first week weight loss! Plus, restricting sodium helps shed water weight, so maybe one more week of big losses and then the real work begins.

And the journey continues. I'm closer to 1500 mg of sodium per day than 2300 mg, which is fantastic. And I'm averaging around 2000 calories a day so far. I need to exercise more, but I'm not hungry right now and doing well. We'll see where the Wednesday weight in will leave me.
