Well, I was not following FF and tried the Master Cleanse detox . . . did not eat for six whole days. . . it was supposed to be 10, but I simply ate . . . and ate . . . and ate! I could tell it was in the process of detoxifying my body, until I ate. I had lost 6lbs. Anyways, I have to plan my next move.

Well, its 3 weeks into the month, it's well into Lent and I have NOT started this diet as planned. I have followed it somewhat, but had my cookies, teas, and subway sandwiches in between. I won't even bother to weigh! I guess I just have NOT been ready. Next month I will be performing in front of a whole new audience for the first time this year. I WILL NOT GO UP THERE LOOKING LIKE THIS! So, whats my plan? I have exactly 4 weeks to implement and run a plan. I can start with the Master Cleanse then go into Fat Flush. No doubt, if I do that and stick to it, I will look and feel at least 50% better by the gig. It's up to me! Skinny or fat? Come back here on Friday with a plan!

OK, I have not actually started this diet "for real" yet. With all my aspirations, I just did not do it. I feel so bloated and tired I'm actually thinking of doing the Master Cleanse fast! Of course, I could at least eat on Fat Flush. I'll decide by the weekend which course of action I should take. Either way, I will do something! I cannot allow another month to pass by and not

Well, its been a long Mardi Gras weekend! Rather than partying to the extreme (like everyone else), I was trying to gather the strength to get up and clean my house! I did my share of "Fat Tuesday" by eating and drinking the things that are totally NOT on this diet. I won't even bother to weigh today. I need to decide what I'm going to give up during lent and what changes or new activities I will attempt to initiate to make a better me. It was a lil difficult for me to go to the music website yesterday and see the person that my former friend and "manager" is now promoting. She does not put on the show I can, but she is more fit and scantily clad. He's got her pic all over the website "ouch"! I feel neutral towards her, but hurt that he just "replaced" me because he could not deal with a fat, depressed new mommy who is trying to do it all on her own and having to prioritize. Well, I just have to see it as a different time for me now. I need to be mommy AND work on getting me healthy again (physically & mentally) so when a new opportunity arises, I'll be READY. This is my time to regroup! Soon, I'll be back with some new music, regular gigs and better than ever! I have to "see" it and believe it!

Well, I've done OK this week, managed to lose 1/2 lb even tho I haven't followed FF exactly and no exercise. Wouldn't you know I ordered beef and shrimp fatitas that I intended to eat only with a salad . . . but I open the plate and theres a scoop of rice and beans! Of course, I had to eat it, especially since I paid $15 for the plate, and I told them "no tortillas, chips or other carbs!" oh well, I won't be back until after Mardi Gras, lent will be a good time to try to follow this diet to a T. In the meantime, I keep on keeping on!
