Looking to get down to a healthy weight for the first time in years! Y'all can just call me Cyrus or CJ, whichever you want. I'm FtM and currently on HRT, so weight loss is truly a battle rn. I know it says "female" on the app, but that's because I was assigned female at birth and wanted to ensure my numbers would be somewhat accurate. I'm not gonna let my ADHD, ASD, PTSD, depression, and anxiety stand in the way of a happy, healthy life anymore, and I'm using this app to help with that. :)

Big fan of meats, especially steak, so vegetarian diets are definitely outta the question... keto, likewise, is off the table (cholesterol levels got me concerned). Essentially, I'm looking to find my healthy balance despite my texture sensitivities.

For those curious, on my last blood test, I spotted following potential issues despite being within normal range (thought not by much):

High A1c (I was .1% away from being in the pre-diabetes range! Yikes!!!)
High LDL cholesterol + low HDL cholesterol
High blood glucose
High sodium + chloride
Low albumin

I'll try to keep y'all updated on future blood tests via the journal and update this list as time goes on (next test in June). I'm supposed to get them once every 3 months, I think. We'll see what the doctor says.

Currently asking my endocrinologist for the green light on intermittent fasting! I'm looking at doing a 5:2 fasting schedule, though my primary doctor recommended one day per week. I made it through 40 hours of fasting last time and dropped a couple pounds, so I'd love to see the progress I make if I fast regularly! Thank you, @wannabhealthier, for recommending me a FANTASTIC fasting app! For those curious, it's LIFE Fasting (you can always ask for a screen of the app if you want, I don't mind helping people where I can).

Any help and/or tips are always appreciated! Thanks in advance for y'all's encouragement and support, this community is truly the best!

Cracking the macro code?
Okay, so... here's a bit of context. I'm currently on HRT (for FtM transitioning) and I literally haven't been at a healthy weight in YEARS. I'm looking to try to lose about 100 pounds. On days where I don't eat much, I still seem to gain weight, so I really think it's about balance at this point. So far I've been doing what I can, but without a food scale, it's kinda difficult to portion things. Anyone got advice on what macros should look like for me?
