Well, I'm 35 yrs old, married with two children. I work full-time, take classes online and have been struggling with my weight for years! I gained weight after my first child and it took me over two years and I lot of work to slim down. I've done just about every diet out there...Jenny Craig, WW's, Atkins, South Beach...etc! I even went under the knife and had lipo suction...twice! I've tried all of the new diet supplements that claim to help you lose weight (while dieting & exercising)...well, if I dieted & exercised well, I wouldn't need the pills, would I? Anyway, I am trying to change my mind set this time. Healthy eating and staying active is not an option...it's something I have to do! Good luck to you all on your weight loss endeavor!

Restaurant calories
You're right. A lot of restaurants have some nutritional information posted on their website. The best advice I can give is to stick with grilled or steamed. Skip the baked potatoe if you can't go without butter & sour cream...oh yeah, if you order a salad, request the dressing on the side.

Stuck in a HUGE Rut! Need some encouraging words
I feel you! The 5am wake up is a hard pill to swallow...but it's better than letting your goal slip anyway from you. Only you can push through this time of de-motivation. Set a small goal and work hard to achieve it. The sense of accomplishment can help you through.
