not going to officially record it, but stepped on the scale today and it was 129.8.
I know in reality it is just water loss from the hot weather, but still it was pleasant to see.
once I can stay under 130 for at least 2 weeks I plan to buy a ring that I have been eyeballing for awhile.

what the scale read today.
mood is still down so I'll be battling the desire for comfort food. chips, chocolate and lactose free icecream - not just a serving size but the whole container. no other food will appeal to me in this state. ☹️
Weigh-in:
131.0 lb
lost so far:
2.0 lb
still to go:
6.0 lb
Diet followed reasonably well

losing 0.3 lb a week

I need to do more, and focus more without becoming obsessed.
read an article that if you learn to like your body the way that it currently is that actual weight loss is easier. don't quite understand it but at this point I am going to try.
** very down today ** ☹️

I have chosen not to record my food from yesterday. I know that I consumed an incredible amount of calories, so I will consider it a once a week non recording day. don't like the phrase "cheat day", this is not a diet it is a building tool to increase my awareness of what I am consuming and how I can make my eating habits better.
I must remind myself that I am providing my own support in this, and for a couple of reasons... how and what I eat and the connection to my mental health. plus controlling the side effects of all my medications that include weight gain.

going to sunfest today with my mom. alot of very slow walking will be done as she has been experiencing mobility issues. the challenge will be to slowing down to her speed.
however despite this I am grateful that she is actually venturing out.
my mom is my inspiration, biggest supporter and my motivation.
