...Okay. I think something must be wrong.

I have been in a calorie deficit (at least I should be) for the past week. I have gone out to exercise extra on top of the Insanity program and I still don't seem to be losing any weight at all!?

I feel like this goes against some sort of basic logic. Should I be eating even less? Should I be exercising more? Or is this some sick play on fate saying I will never lose these pounds?

Or...is the Insanity exercise program making me gain weight? And my calories deficit is preventing me from going up on the scale? Is this normal with exercise?? I've never exercised this much and this hard before...

Have you noticed your clothes becoming more loose? sometimes when we exercise a lot we may see the results in fat loss/inches and not always on the scale right away. Are you drinking water to flush out sodium? You may need to play around with the calories. Try zig zagging for a week or two (high and low days, 1200 1300, 1500, 1200 etc.). Make sure you aren't eating too many processed foods (high sodium). You need to keep changing things up till you find what works. It take s a long time and a lot of hard work to get in shape. You can do it.

Thank you so much for the encouraging words. It's just so frustrating to be not eating past 9, hungry bedtimes, exercising my butt off, and still just not losing weight. I DO feel a bit healthier and am starting to see some definition in my arms, but the change is just so LITTLE. When I see the graph on fatsecret, even the slow changes give me motivation. But now, without a way to see how my body is changing, I just feel so discouraged. I will try zigzagging my calories. That may be the kick I need to give my body to start dropping again. I will try to watch my sodium some more too.
