Aaaak! I was so Keto yesterday. 10% carbs. Maybe too high fat and protein. Cals under 1200. Seems erratic. I'm hanging in there.
170.0 lb Lost so far: 1.0 lb.    Still to go: 25.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
gaining 14.0 lb a week

Just looking at your Diet Calendar for January (thus far), I would have to guess that when your carbs are LOW, your FATS aren't high enough... and, as a result - following Keto, your body thinks you're starving it. Try this... fats above 100 g, protein about 60 g and keep your carbs under 40 g per day (this is assuming you're of average height and middle aged).

How many grams of carbs? I am just trying to help. The estimate from total calories says that you never hit keto. Ten GRAMS of carbohydrates is keto, not 30. 10% of 1200 calories is 30 grams of carbs, which is not even near keto. Also, it takes several days, if not weeks to acheive ketosis.

Moggiemynes - Yesterday was 1168 cals; 20gms net carbs; 88.38gms Fat; 77.78g Protein. Says 8% carbs. Thanks for the feed back

Jackie, good advice From371 ! You are also needing to be concerned with net carbs in keto. The grams of fibre in a food can be subtracted from the carb grams. 20 grams total in a day for a few weeks will kickstart you into ketosis. It isn’t as rough staying there. The fats don’t have to be at 100g but they will satisfy your hunger and give you a non-blood sugar impacting food source that’s good for your brain, but you also need to burn fat to lose. Your protein goal between 50-90 is okay. Pretty much 50 is minimum. Water is essential as is salt and electrolytes and magnesium. If you are short on your water or the minerals and electrolytes you will not lose. 🙋🏻‍♀️
