Glad you are happy with new scale....nice drop....haven't decided whether I like mine yet....they do weigh the same no matter where I slide them.....just am not ready to post the weight....kind of attached to the spring ones.....where are you walking??? Looks kind of muddy.....think I would be just a bit more concerned over bears(lol)

I'm about 3 hours south of the Alaska Panhandle in BC Canada. Bears are a known commodity. People are far more likely to choke to death on a hotdog than to be killed by a bear... which is why I don't eat hotdogs anymore.

Don't know much about that area....does the weather permit a growing season for fruits and vegetables.....I won't eat a hotdog either so not a problem.....might choke on a fresh tomato or cucumber or berries....it's fresh produce here now....will probably eat waay too many blt's....anyone keeping stats on hotdog mortality rate???? just wondering!!!! (she asks that with an evil grin)

17% of food asphyxiation admissions to hospitals each year are from hotdogs. Yes, we have a growing season. Short season, but at the moment the sun comes up at 4 AM and goes down around 10:30 PM. So long growing days. Have a huge raspberry patch in the back yard and huckleberry picking season is about 1 1/2 months away.

Love raspberries and blackberries on my yogurt....have to buy them at the grocery store....don't have room to grow them....I won't eat the frozen ones so when the season is over for them here, I am sad.....bet you get some great sunrises and sunsets....I love taking pictures of those but I am in the city and my views are pretty restricted.....have to shoot through trees and rooftops....kind of hard to get a good picture, but I get what I can.....am shooting with an IPad.....don't have a smart phone.....that's probably a good thing!!!!

At least it isn't "before" & "after". My tracks are about as deep as one on left.

Yay! Your picture loaded! Yay! Your scales are cooperating. YIKES!! Grizzly bear????? I would be scared silly. We get to see black bears here but none of the great big Grizzlies!!

When I lived in the Montana mountains, F&G relocated the problem grizzlies from Glacier in my area. Never had a problem with the grizzlies, but the black bears were another story!
