Don't panic, I know my weight loss looks ridiculous. It's my scales .. they tell me something different all the time..
So I'm going with the 8st 12 it's telling me, then googled what that is in pounds and this is the result. The pounds on my scales seem to be off the charts and not being true to me... Wish I could record stone here instead of pounds.

In my experience it is the scales that are right. Our weight can vary by large amounts day to day. I sometimes see a difference of half a stone, one day to the next. I record my weight on a spreadsheet. I input it in Stones and Pounds, and it calculates the Pounds for me - which I input here and in Fitbit.

The problem I have is that the scales have stone / kilo / pounds. It says 8st 12.. but then I flick to pounds and it's 126lbs.. If you google what 8st 12 is, it gives 113 as the conversion... something's not adding up lol.

8.12 (8 point 12) stone is 113. But 8 Stone 12 pounds is 124 pounds.

Just set scales to pounds and read pound. That way you can enter pounds here.

Google's definitely wrong then since 8*14+12 can't possibly be an odd number! The conversion should be 124lbs (which is why I stick to kg when I weigh - much easier!)

I have just realised my scales have a "lbs" setting! Duh! I have been weighing Stones and pounds and then converting. This will be much simpler.

Flummoxed by technology, welcome to my world. I weight in kg, convert to lb and then take off 2lb for clothing and that's the weight I record. I can't change the scales as they are in the factory and are a right bugger to fiddle with. Even if it doesn't stand up AA, feel good all day!!

Phooka. 113 is 8 point 12 Stone. Not 8 Stone 12 pounds.
