mskestrela's Journal, 13 August 2016

I spent a few hours yesterday listening to talks by Dr. Ron Rosedale. Pretty interesting stuff! He explained, better than anyone I've heard to date, why the high fat component of LCHF is important.
I made my first batch of "crack slaw" for lunch. Yep, it's some good stuff! But it's good to remember that some seasonings have carbs. Garlic powder, onion powder and soy sauce in the slaw added almost as many carbs as the cabbage. Who'da thunk?
Have a great day, FS buddies.

I watched a bunch of videos on that crack slaw. Too funny! I'll try it in a few weeks probably. You can get seasonings with no added crap but they are hard to find. I think mine were whole foods brand for some.v have fun today! Yeah on the loss!
