Walked 3.3 miles this morning, part with DH and doggies, part by myself. Summer has returned with high humidity and full sun. It was 76 degrees shortly after 10AM. I think I still have a date with the lawn leaf clean-up though...LOL!

I was VERY hungry throughout most of yesterday so I just kept drinking water, waiting and then having small snacks. My final snack was a boiled egg at about 10PM. Not sure what that was all about.

Barely made a pound down this AM, but I will take it, esp. considering it wasn't looking like a loss of any kind throughout most of the week.
152.0 lb Lost so far: 83.0 lb.    Still to go: 7.0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.

Morning Sandy...congrats on the pound lost...76 sounds nice to me...its 58 here and very unusal for this time of year...I'll take it..LOL...I hate those days where I am hungry all day long...and you just don't want to eat but that nagging growl of the stomach or even the pain of hunger is there...enjoy your Monday...☺

Only a pound? But that puts you at your lowest weight on FS and you chart has that nice gentle slope. I'd be thrilled if I were you.

Hi Bren. Sounds like you're warmer than usual as well. DH actually asked what I thought about him getting me a game system with Zumba for Christmas and I told him all about your walking program, looking for treasure!!

Oh Cool Sandy, I know you would like the Walk it Out...as we both do more walking than dancing...I still need to get going on the Zumba one probably will wait until after Thanksgiving...Let me know....☺

Thanks Buffy. I am very pleased, as this makes the third pound dropped this month as opposed to 2 last month. For this stage of the journey, it all gets a bit tedious but I have to keep looking at the big picture and tell myself that losing 2-4 pounds per month over this long haul is pretty gosh darn good. Yes, this is my lowest weight so far on FS....the lowest I've been in about 25 years now. So, if my body needs some time to adjust here or there, well, I guess it's entitled! Have a nice walk at lunchtime.

Hey there, losing 2-4 pounds a month is NOT pretty gosh darn good at all....IT'S FREAKING FANTASTIC! 83 pounds lost so far...(darn it, I can't make the type any bigger, cause you do deserve it to be HUGE), is just plain old INSPIRING! The really amazing thing is, you know what works, so that is what you do! Full on cyber party for you, complete with confetti & Happy Happy Girl Dance (zumba even)...just for you!!

Sandy, I know about these hunger spells. They hit me now and then and I don't understand it. And it is hunger, not an appetite. Just 30 min to 1h after a meal I feel like starving. Wonder where it is coming from but as you I try to get over it.

Sandy, a pound is a pount any way you look at it, congratulations ! We all have the hunger spells, they too will pass.

Jozette, you are right....it truly is hunger and not just a habit or routine. Wouldn't it be nice if we could just put some kind of test strip in our mouth and it would tell us what's going on?

Notfast, yes the hunger did abate eventually. I just think it's odd that it hit me at this point in my journey. Induction? Sure, I could see that....or if I were terribly low on calories, but just out-of-the-blue? Well, just another mystery on this path.
