Finally made it past the plateau. I know many say there's no such thing as "starvation mode" and maybe that's the wrong term, but my metabolism definitely came to a halt the last week and a half or so. I started this four weeks ago with no setbacks and no intention of eating differently ever again. That's why the plateau didn't really bother me (not much at least!). According to all the calorie calculators and weight charts, I know that if I eat 2000 cals I'll weigh 180 lbs someday in the next two years and I'm fine with that. As I slowly start to ramp up my exercise this week from none to almost none, I plan on continuing to keep it at 2000 cals. I pray all of you reading this stick to and achieve your health goals!

Yup, who knows why the scale stays the same for a week or more. Our bodies work in strange ways. I know someone who didn't see the scale move for months but went down 4 sizes. Exercise, hormones, genetics, activity levels and so much more play roles in our weight loss.
