I wish them luck, but you will feel better on low carb and will lose just as well or better and not feel hungry all the time. IMHO. Here's hoping you win the challenge!

How fantastic that your office is doing this challenge! Maybe they should start it again around Thanksgiving before all the employees try bringing in baked carbage.

Thank you all for the encouragement. They can see that what I have been doing is working for me but they just don't believe in it. I don't preach to them about LCHF but when we are all eating lunch together they will comment that what I am eating doesn't look bad at all (as if they expected it to be drastic and somehow foreign) but that in no way could they give up carbs. One of my co-workers had bypass surgery about 7 or 8 years ago and has been slowly gaining it back because she cannot give up carbs, which she knows she has a problem with. I keep telling them that I have no desire to eat carb-laden foods anymore and I don't miss them at all but still....Oh, well. They will be singing a different tune on March 31st, which is the end of the challenge. Four of them also hired a personal trainer to come in after work once a week and they work out in the waiting room. I smile and walk politely pass them (LOL).

all the preaching in the world wont help,, You just sit back and reap the health benefits.. that's all you can do . That makes you a winner before you even start .

I agree with Tamarah Jo

Agreed! My son has taken a whole year to finally ask me details about LCHF. The proof will be in the (LC) pudding! Good luck on your challenge!

I'm amused by people that freak out about giving up carbs, I'm getting to where I just tell people to ditch fast food and junk food, everyone knows what that is.

I hope you do well at your work. I think that is great that people at work are doing that.
