I just did a search on gastric bypass (considering it) and found your post. Did you go through with it? Are you ok? I'm trying to learn from others on this site.

Nice work, I'm glad you decided to lose weight without surgery, this way you're in control instead of being hostage to your own body and if you have a bad day on a diet you can always start again the next day, learning to control your urges is as important as losing the weight.

I too, thought about surgery, but bottom line is that you have to stop overeating, one way or another. I decided to spare myself the agony and expense of surgery, and stopped overeating. Keep at it Rambler747, and so will I. Have a great day.

You are in the right place Rambler! You can do this!!

Keep at it, one day at a time. I find it easier to do the one day at a time and exercise rather than a longer goal. The process is slow but I hope it works. I also bought a wrist pedometer and keep trying for my 5000 steps a day and will next move to 10,000. Good luck. We are all behind you.

I'm glad to hear you have done great, but remember that the surgery helps but you have learn to eat well and really choose carefully so you dont gain it back.
06 Jun 16 by member: lucky enough to make it
LOL, that's why I commented on it HCB, he's done a fantastic job in the past 6 months, I'm impressed!
