I am thankful that I didn't have a weight gain, even though there was no loss either :)

This week my 5 thinks I am thankful for
1. Thankful for a weekend spent with the Casada Family (my family) at our place. We celebrated an early Thanksgiving due to work scheduled. We made Pilgrim Hat Cookies and Bird feeders from pinecone, peanut butter and bird seeds. The kids had a great time
2. Thankful for a quiet house last night. After 4 kids running around the house and playing, the quiet was nice
3. Thankful for for an upcoming trip to East Texas to spend time with my husband's family on Friday and Saturday.
4. Thankful that my husband has a great person we just hired that can look after the place so we can get away for a day. Hard to be self-employed sometimes. You are responsible for everything, especially when your business involves caring for livestock
5. Thankful for all my FS Buddies. I began this journey almost 1 year ago. While I have not met my goal yet, I am so much closer than I would have been on my own. We may never meet in person, but know that you have each been an inspiration to me

Have a Blessed Thanksgiving everyone.

I am posting a Weight Watchers health fruit salad recipe shared by my sister-in-law. Great compliment to this weeks meals and very easy to make! It is about 1 point per cup if you make with all the Lite ingredients.

(Find the ones with the lowest calories and sugar, usually those in own juice over syrup are lowest)

2 cans of Fruit Cocktail
1 can of Mandarin Oranges
1 can of diced pineapple
1 jar Marachino Cherries
1 small package of White Chocolate Pudding (sugar free is best point wise)

Pour 1 can of Fruit Cocktail into a bowl with juice. Drain the other cans and jar of cherries and dump into the bowl of fruit cocktail with juice. Pour in the dry white chocolate pudding. Stir and chill. Makes a great fruit salad you can eat with the meal or serve as the dessert. Serves around 8-10 people.

HAPPY THANKSGIVING!

I soooo agree with your #2. I only have 2 kids, but I swear, some nights I want to put them down no later than 6.30!!! Thankfully they can't stay up any later than 8am, and are usually begging for bed by 7-7.30. Glad you had a good time with your family, and that you were able to work out a early Thanksgiving that worked for everyone. Holidays are so hard sometimes!!! Hope you have a great time with your DHs family too!!
