Doing everything right, but the weight moves down very slowly. I think I should be losing about 2 or 3 lbs a week. Lucky to lose 1. Maybe getting older has something to do with it.

My weight has gone up by 7 kilos since returning to work 3 years ago. All I do is eat and sit. I need to get back to walking again. :(

Well the closer you get to goal, the less you have to lose, the slower it may come off. So if you are doing a pound a week, you are doing crazy good. So keep going, you are doing great.

I enjoy my lifestyle, eating healthy, and exercise as much as I can. But something has changed I think. If I eat a small apple that weighs 1/4 lb, the next day I'll gain a pound. Not all the time, just using that as an example. I normally eat between 800 & 1200 calories a day. At that rate I might lose a pound every 2 wks. If I eat more I'll gain 2 or 3 pounds a week. All my blood work & other tests come back great, except for very bad arthritis. I tend to think I don't get enough exercise, but do all I can. I think it may be that my walking has fallen way off. A year ago I walked at least 5 miles a day, now maybe a 1/4 mile. I had an appointment with podiatrist about my feet, but it was postponed for 3 wks. If I can get back to walking without the pain in my feet, I believe things will change for the better. I still ride the stationary bike 3 to 5 miles a day, as well as other exercises I can do. I have bought many pair of walking shoes but to no avail. Wish me luck.
