FINALLY! Broke the 215# barrier...
to those that doubted and disparaged me (not here, this is a good forum and encouraging, but others in my life) read it and weep!

Still having hard time sleeping through the night, mostly aching legs and peeing (too much water to late in the evening...my bad)

with all the weight loss, not only did I re-discover the callus from the broken sternum but I think there is an area on my ribs (left side) where I might have had some of those broke too back in '93...
214.6 lb Lost so far: 30.1 lb.    Still to go: 0 lb.    Diet followed reasonably well.
losing 3.2 lb a week

Just remember what I said in previous journals, I was 206#, young and fit and full of mussel when I joined the navy out of coast guard reserve and high school...now I'm old and deflated like a fair balloon a week after, but I'm working on 'tightening up'...you should me strut around the house in my new compression athletic shorts ;)

I always get up to pee during the night - just consider it normal now. I have found that tart or dark cherry juice helps with the leg pain and also let's me get right back to sleep. You might want to research that. Good luck.

I never expected so many to support and comment, I'm truly touched...thank you all. I'm wondering now just how low can I go before it effects my health... BTW, for those that never tried them, those compression poly/spandex athletics feel GRRRREAT! and help with fatigue from the office, just like the socks only higher...and guys, don't worry about the family assets...there's literally a hammock.

looks to me you are doing great, have you tried peeing right before falling a sleep? or maybe eat foods that will stimulate melatonin pineapple, banana, tomatoe, meat, if your diet allows any of those...

I have found taking magnesium tablets twice a day - morning and before bed - reduces muscle pain. I know you some chronic pain issues but you might give it a try...

the calcium supplement has magnesium in it...damn horse pills are 3@ 2x aday. pineapple is too much sugar/carb. to night I had such a craving for meat I made a tuna spread (using small can, lite mayo and curry powder) filled a low carb pita (4cb I got from clinic's pantry) and scarfed that a good hour or more after my regular dinner time watching adult swim on Cartoon Network...I shouldn't of, it breaks my pattern, but such a craving! I'll see what the scale tolls in the morning.
