A friend of mine has a Gazelle(?) Glider, supposedly no impact. I am going to borrow it and give it a whirl. Hopefully that will help with my excess energy and crankiness. Thanks!

Small but steady losses are really great, takes patience but shows that you're approaching this a long term thing. Low impact sounds good, hope it does the trick and lets you get more activity while continuing to let your foot heal.

Let us know how you like the gazelle.

I had a "fake" gazelle once - I liked it. Very smooth and no impact at all!

I like mine it isn't quite the workout as a treadmill but you can change it up by putting your weight differently etc. It's terrific when you have a leg or ankle injury because it gets you moving. It's heavy so set it up and leave it up it's kind of unweildy to move arounf often. Have your boys help you.

Doing great....slow but steady wins the race!

Your slow and steady is going to be permanent instead of a yo-yo.
