Steady, waiting for a whoooosh 🤣 I've been eating low carb wraps and i think I'm allergic to something in them. maybe wheat or the fiber 🥺 My mouth tingles a little, and I wake up all swollen, my hands all puffy. I guess i need to make my own. I have a good keto recipe. Does anyone else get reactions like this?

Well, at least you know where it's coming from. Processed foods!

I use nori for wraps.

ERIKA, exactly. I don't need them. It's nice from time to time. Do you think it's the gluten or fiber? I've suspected them a while back but I've totally confirmed it! I also suspect eggs. Which sux. I'll have to run an experiment with them. ‐--------- Have you ever tried Lupin Flour? There's a recipe with lupin flour, almond flour and xantham gum? I don't care for almond flour usually. Hoo hum. Back to beef.

Ps, I'll try the Nori

I get that effect from Mushrooms and Eggs, but with Eggs it depends on the feed, if they are using a feed high in sulfur, then I suffer. I am allergic to molds and such, so Mushrooms are not a good thing, but I love em and eat em anyways... and yes I pay... right now am all puffy and the edema is acting up, so my feet barely fit into my sandals... lots of Eggs and Mushrooms in my diet lately, and my system is yelling at me as a result.

Adiposemann. Have you tried carnovore? It's crazy good for inflamstion! I'm usually 90% carnivore but i strayed haha and paid the price. I just get grocery store eggs, so you know. Feed not great I'm sure.

Jenjabba... I have been considering it, since it seems I cannot break the 118kg plateau, doing what I am doing now. Another learning curve I am sure, but I have to figure out something, and I do lean towards carnivore normally anyways... I will literally go on a meat eating binge... some people crave carbs, some crave sweets, I crave meat... I do love salads though, but can probably do without them, since I have a tendency to overeat salad.

Look for 'pasture raised' eggs, not just organic or free range (can mean uncaged inside a barn with thousands of other chickens.) Pasture raised means outdoors, so they get Omega 3's from eating grass and bugs and living in the sunshine.

@Erikahollister... ya the prices make them a treat, not a staple, and on a fixed income, that becomes a once in a while purchase... unfortunately I have to balance living below poverty, with eating healthy... a tricky combo.

@Erikahollister... just did a search... cannot find pasture fed eggs anywhere near me. Can get free range organic fed $10/doz

ohh no I eat a few a day that stinks

@Jenjabba... ya kinda the way I feel... and 1.5g x 118 = 177g of protein per day, so lean meat is the better option.

@ObeseToBeast... ya a few a day is $2.40 ... not cost effective for what they offer.

Oh no 😯 I'm sorry 😞. I empathize I'm allergic to red dye number 40 it causes me to have optical strokes, migraines, as well as some hyperactivity. in addition that it's found in some really strange foods that you might not expect so I found that I've made some mistakes in the past that have cost me. some examples are cinnamon cheap meats are often died, KFC chicken, the cheap shrimp rings that you can find at the grocery store, a wide variety of products from other countries as the US does not require the label of those products being imported, any product that's purchased from another company and then added to changed or modified by another company, any product that used to have paprika may now have red dye for no good reason, lots of Blue products?, as well as the more typical things that you would expect that are red or pink.

Leah, that's awful! They shouldn't allow that die. There is no reason for it. I think they die salmon now too. I won't buy it. Sad really.

Jenjabba, they dye farmed Salmon, wild caught is okay.
09 Sep 23 by member: Adiposemann
Adipose man, but there's NO REASON to color it. Just wrong. And they feed them crap. Did you see the documentary on what they feed farmed fish, scary
